Lou Hobbs, 71, of Havana, passed away at 10:59 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021 at her home.
She was born on March 17, 1950, in Beardstown, Illinois, to Everett Lee and Frances (Dare) Lynn. She married Robert Hobbs in Havana, Illinois on June 08, 1974.
Linda is survived by her husband: Robert Hobbs; her children, Tabathea (Joe Gavin) Lynn, Shaine (Tammy Sumner) Hobbs, Sunday Thompson and Velvet Brown; son-in-law Jeff Stocke; her sister, Diana Sunderland;12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Shannon Stocke; her siblings, Virginia Thomas, James Lynn, Shirley Welch and her great-granddaughters, Ester and Adeline Hobbs.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., also at Hurley Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Rev. Abraham Mogerman will officiate.
Memorial donations may be made out to Linda and her family's name.
