Charles "Charlie" Richard Bankester II, age 39 of Milton, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021. Charlie was born on March 31, 1982 and resided in Milton. He served in the United States Marine Corp from March 2001 to March 2005 and served in various combat areas including Afghanistan, Iraq and Djibouti. He loved boating and fishing.

Charlie was preceded in death by his father, Charles Richard Bankester; his brother, Michael B. Bankester; and sister, Janice M. (Bankester) Tracht.

He is survived by his mother, Sharon N. Bankester; his sister, Anastasia "Stacey" N. (Bankester) Rice; nieces, Amber N. Holman, Breanna (Dylan) D. Rice, and Cathryn M. Rice; uncles, Perry M. Bankester Jr., Larry E. Bankester, and Donald Rowland; and several cousins.

A visitation will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, October 28, 2021 beginning at 11:30AM, followed by a service at 12:00PM. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery aboard NAS Pensacola.
