She worked for Phoenix Textile as a senior collector. Karen was a member of the SS Simon & Jude Altar Society.
She is survived by her children, David (Lori) Wilkes of Pensacola, FL; Michelle (William, Jr.) Bertetto of Benld, IL; grandchildren, Justin, Savannah, Samuel, Trinity, Elizabeth, William III, Joseph, Michael; siblings, Carol (Jerry) Radake of Hillsboro, MO, Dennis Martin of Afton, MO, Don Martin of Imperial, MO, Marilynn (Pat) Gordon of Imperial, MO, Nancy (Bill) Rakowski of Belleville, IL and Richard Martin of St. Louis, MO. Karen was preceded in death by her parents and spouse.
Friends may call on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie, IL from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, October 29, 2021 at SS Simon & Jude Church, Gillespie, IL at 10 am with Father Michael Haag officiating. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Gillespie, IL.
