Lawrence E. Davis, 81, of Polk City, FL passed away peacefully on Friday, October 22, 2021 at home with his family by his side.
Born October 21, 1940, in Grundy, VA to J. Bert and Leatha Perkins Davis, he moved to the Polk County, FL area over 60 years ago. He was a farmer and loved coon hunting.
He is survived by: four sons, Steve Davis of Grandview, TN, Troy Davis and his wife, Terri of Jasper, GA, Jimmy Davis and his wife Tammy of Elijay, GA and L.J. Davis of Polk City, FL; three daughters, Sharon Clark and her husband Todd of Ballground, GA, Tina Adair and her husband, Van of Polk City, FL and LaGina Davis of Danville, OH; four sisters, Marie Siders, Leona Keen, Virginia Keen and Beulah Keen; fifteen grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
A graveside service will take place with his burial at Hickory Flats Cemetery in Blue Ridge, GA.
