Travis A. Bishop, age 29, of Dan Ridge, Wellington, Kentucky, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021.



Born August 21, 1992, in Belfry, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Wesley and Nina Lockard Bishop.



Travis is survived by his fiancée, Ashley Nicholas of Wellington; two children, Isabella and Adalynn Bishop and their mother, Gabrielle Bishop of Burgin, Kentucky; one stepson, Ryker Buttery of Wellington; four siblings, Don Sharp of Boston, Massachusetts, Rodney Robinette of Ohio, Megan Bishop and Stephanie Pauley, both of Belfry, Kentucky; four special friends, Kayla Bradley, Ronnie Edward Slone, Bree Futrell, and Crys Elkins, as well as many loving extended family members and friends.



Travis graduated from Morehead State University with associate and bachelor degrees and was employed as a controls engineer with Carter Controls in Baltimore, Maryland. He loved the farm life and the variety of animals he pampered—cows (his favorite), goats, turkeys, peacocks, and chickens. He also enjoyed his dogs, especially Joe. Travis was passionate about his family and will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.



A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor David Hale officiating.



Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351 is caring for arrangements.
