Barbara, or as many called her "Bobbie," was a person who loved deeply and selflessly. She worked as a Child Development Center director and cared and advocated for any child no matter how complex the situation was. She loved giving presents and making people feel loved in anyway she could. She was known for throwing creative and fun birthday parties. She was also known for hoping in a car and driving long distances to be there for those in need.

She appreciated the simple things in life, such as feeding seagulls, playing with children, flowers and going to garage sales with her husband. She loved talking to her kids, and would always encourage us to open up with her. She wanted to know how her loved ones were doing at all times. She loved the ocean so much that her wishes are for her remains be scattered there.

In Barbara's final days, she told Gordon, her husband, that she thought she was dying and she was sorry to leave him. The last words Amanda heard from Barbara were, "Love you. Go be with dad." One of her final wishes was for others to treat Covid 19 seriously. Covid 19 was the cause of her demise.

She lived sacrificially. She prioritized other people's needs over her own, always. Many have described Barbara as one of the best women they have known. Others have also said she was a mother figure/second mom to them. She will be incredibly missed.
