Bill was born in Madison, MO on February 13, 1933 to the late William D. Orr, Sr., and Dorothy (Lepper) Orr. He obtained his bachelor's degree from St. Louis University. He was the owner of William Orr and Sons, a highway safety construction business. He was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed reading, bird watching, fishing, working with numbers, taking care of his roses, and continuing to work until the age of 88.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Susan O. Rajchel of Lebanon, William D. Orr, III and his wife Carol of Linglestown, Glenn E. Orr and his wife Joan of Lebanon, 8 grandchildren, Matthew, Paul, William IV, Caitlin, Meghan, Timothy, Thomas, Elizabeth, 2 great grandchildren, William V & Rebecca, brother Jerry Orr of Missouri, sister Cindy Bones of Georgetown, DE, a stepson, Robert M. Anspach and his wife Nicole of Lebanon, and a stepdaughter, Anita Hartranft and her husband Dennis of Bernville. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Dorothy Orr, who passed away in 1998.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 12PM at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main Street, Annville. Interment will be in Mt. Annville Cemetery. There will be a viewing from 11AM till 12PM at the funeral home.
