Karyl Lea Bench married Edward Joseph Davies of Longview, WA on Aug. 15, 1950. They moved to Longview, WA where she taught kindergarten for 30 years. She loved children and teaching lessons with music. She was active in church, Washington State Republican Women, American Diabetes Association, and Longview Cultural Events. She and Edward served a mission for their church to Marion, Va. She loved the beach, traveling, and spending time with her family.
K. Lea was survived by daughter, Lorille Davies Bird of Cordova, TN; son, Kevin Davies of Friendswood, TX; nine grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a infant son, Donald Edward Davies, in 1955; a daughter, Deborah Lea Timothy, in 1981, and her husband Edward Joseph Davies in 2008
