Carol Scott Kennedy, 76, of Airville, PA, died on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at home. She was born in Havre de Grace, MD, to the late Raymond J. and Naomi (Thompson) Scott. Carol was married to Gerald L. Kennedy and together they celebrated 39 years of marriage in August.
After graduating from college, Carol worked as a registered nurse. Prior to her retirement in 2016, she worked as a registered nurse for the Red Lion School District. In addition to working as a nurse, Carol loved spending time with her family, where they shared many camping adventures. She enjoyed listening to blue grass music, sewing and knitting and basket weaving. Carol was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, in Dallastown.
In addition to Gerald, Carol is survived by two children: Shanen Scott (Michael) Dietz, of Airville, and Erin Lee (Jason) Aspito, of Red Lion. She is also survived by two brothers: Ray (Tommie) Scott, of Forest Hill, MD and Bob (Cindy) Scott, of Atlanta, GA. Three grandchildren: Monica, Kennedy and Ava are left to cherish sweet memories of Carol, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
