He was retired from LG&E where he worked for over 30 years, his current employer was Andy Frain Security Services where he was security supervisor until his death.
He leaves to cherish his memory wife, Betty J. Harbison; children, Lena H. Chase, David L Harbison Jr., Lucy P. Harbison and Janet Burns (Lenix III); 6 step children; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1great-great grandchild; 1 step grandchild; special aunt Geraldine Stoudemire and a host of other relatives numerous friends and extended family members.
Visitation: 11am-1pm Thursday, July 26, 2018 at A. D. Porter & Sons, 1300 W Chestnut St., with the funeral service to follow at 1pm, burial in Green Meadows Cemetery.
