ADELIA M. HUBER
Mrs. Adelia Maude Huber, 89, of Gladwin, died Sunday, April 4, in the Gladwin Area Hospital. Born in Henry County, Ohio, on December 26, 1886, she had lived in Gladwin County since about 1907. She was a member of the Grout Benevolent Society for 55 years and treasurer of the group 34 years. The former Adelia Swinehart, she was married to Mathias Huber on July 15, 1909. He preceded her in death on August 14, 1974.
Surviving are eight daughters, Mrs. Leo (Loraine) Flynn and Mrs. Edith Hamilton of Gladwin, Mrs. Wilmer (Wanda) Tarrant of Montrose, Mrs. Richard (Eunice) List of Bay City, Mrs. A. J. (Ruth) Otterbacher of Columbus, S. C., Mrs. Maysell Redman, Mrs. Kenneth (Maxine) Young and Mrs. Richard (Patricia) Priemer of Gladwin; three sons, Duane and Donald of Gladwin and Ovid of Davison; 48 grandchildren and 51 great grandchildren.
Services were held today, Wednesday, at 11 a.m. from the Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Byron Hatch officiated and burial was in the Grout Cemetery.
