Mrs. Morris was born on Nov. 25, 1938, in Sacaton to Richard Armstrong and Mildred Emerson. She was a God-fearing woman and loved her Bible, gospel music, her church and her Bible studies at home.
She loved her family and friends, and everyone was welcomed.
She is survived by eight daughters and sons, Linda Cheater and Carol Morris of Stotonic, Cynthia Cheater of Coolidge, Marlene Corralejo of Casa Grande, Ralph and Floyd Morris of Stotonic, Sharon Johnson of Sacaton Flats and Colan Morris of Stotonic; 35 grandchildren; 79 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Morris; two sons, Leonard Morris and Frankie Pettit; and five siblings, Norman Armstrong, Leona Havier, Alvin Leon Armstrong, Richard Royce Armstrong and Idella Morris.
