Age 59, passed away October 19, 2021 at St. Mary's Hospital after a short illness. Mike was born July 19, 1962 in Grand Rapids to Jimmie and Betty (Chelette) Huber.

He worked for Standex/ Tenibac Incorporated, and also was a well-liked horse farrier. Mike loved his work, his horse farm, his dog Gauge, but especially his family.

On July 14, 1984 he married Betsy Oakes, his wife of 37 years survives as does his mother, Betty Huber; sister, Sue (Mike) Charles; brother, Jim (Pam) Huber; father-in-law, Jesse Oakes; in-laws, Ron (Kathie) Oakes, Janet (Bill) Sahlberg, Connie (Doug) Wiers, Janice Oakes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Huber; sister, Peggy Long; mother-in-law, Agnes Oakes; and brother-in-law, Rick Oakes. According to his wishes cremation has taken place. Peggy Ann Long, aged 51, of Middleville, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 2:57 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bettye and Jimmie Huber. Peggy has left behind her husband, Bruce; her children, Rebekah and David Bolt, Joshua Long; sister and brothers, Sue and Mike Charles, Jimmie Huber, Mike and Betsy Huber. Funeral services for Peggy will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Heritage Baptist Church, 1570 - 60th St. SE, Kentwood with Pastor Bo Moore officiating. Interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
