Stella Juneau Miller, 91, died Thursday, October 21, 2021 in a Fort Worth, Texas Hospital. She was born on November 29, 1929 to her late parents, Willie and Pauline Juneau.

She was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, and had lived in Westlake, Louisiana, for approximately 54 years and had lived in Phoenix, Arizona for the last 14 years.

Stella graduated from Sacred Heart High School in New Orleans, Louisiana and attended LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

She studied foreign languages while attending LSU. Stella was fluent in French and Spanish. She had a beautiful singing voice and sang in the Saint John Bosco Church choir in Westlake and the Messiah Chorus at McNeese State University in Lake Charles.

Stella loved to travel and even visited places like Hong Kong, Mexico, Australia, Canada, and much of the United States.

Survivors include two sons, Dr. Dennis Miller DC and wife Amber of Austin, Texas, and Paul Baker Miller of Bartlett, Tennessee; three daughters, April Granger and husband Mike of Vinton, Louisiana, Yvonne Beech and husband Patrick of Phoenix, Arizona, and Melanie Benson and husband Lonnie of Greenville, Texas; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gibbs "G.D." Miller, Jr; son, Stephen J. Miller; father, Willie Juneau; mother, Pauline Reason Juneau; brother, Paul Juneau; and sister, Mae Juneau Freese.

Services will be held at Hixson Funeral Home in Westlake on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 10:30am, with Paul Baker Miller officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service at the funeral home, beginning at 9:00am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Jennings.
