Eric was a native and longtime resident of Gulfport. He graduated from Gulfport High School in 1969. Eric was an active duty EOD Marine during the Vietnam era. He was also a career Electrician for Haynes Electric Co. and part of the IBEW for over 45 years.
He is survived by his mother, Lavonnie Powers; brother, Dana Campbell; wife, Carol Ann Campbell; sons, Jason and Brian Campbell; grandchildren, Skyler, Jaydon, Brandon, Jordan, and Haylee Campbell.
A graveside service was held at the VA National Cemetery in Biloxi, Mississippi on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 12:30pm.
