Melanie Hope Yates (Calderon), age 23, of Zion, IL, passed away on October 18, 2021 at Vista East Hospital in Waukegan, IL. She was born in 1998, also at Vista East Hospital.
She married Daniel Yates on April 30, 2016. She graduated from UW-Parkside in 2019, and went on to become a registered nurse.
She is survived by Daniel, her two daughters, Evelyn and Lydia, her father and mother, two sisters, and a brother, the Calderon's—Shawn, Lam, Chloe, Celestial, and Stephan.
Melanie's memorial will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 2pm. The service will be located outdoors at 2801 Enoch Ave, Zion IL, 60099. Parking is available at Grace Missionary Church.
