Memorial service for Johnnie Mar Sanders, age 87, of Kilbourne, Louisiana will be 10AM, Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Hill Baptist Church in Hill Community with Rev. Jimbo Herring and Rod Russell officiating. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.
Johnnie Mae was born on January 6, 1934 and passed away on October 19, 2021. She taught for over 33 years at Kilbourne High School.
She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, LeAnne Russell; parents, Herman Audis Ainsworth and Ruby Lou Huffty Ainsworth.
Johnnie Mae is survived by her husband, Norman B. Sanders of Kilbourne, Louisiana; son, John Audis Sanders of Oak Grove, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Risa and Chris French of Oak Grove, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Clay and Kellye Sanders of Oak Grove, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Noah Reeves of Rayville, Louisiana; eight grandchildren, Amy Henry, Makayla Joy McMillon, Rod Russell, Cole Russell, Brooke Kirby, Drew Johnson, Stone Reeves, Natalie Reeves; eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
