William E. Dixon of Monroe, NY passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Garnet Health Medical Center in Wallkill, NY. He was 71 years old. Son of the late Florence (Tanner) and Robert W. Dixon, he was born on June 16, 1950, in Tuxedo, NY.
Prior to his retirement, William worked in Human Resources for Wakefern, Inc. in Edison, NJ. He was also an active member and a former Recording Secretary for the Italian American Club in Edison, NJ.
William is survived by his children: daughter Victoria Dixon Dahms and her husband Timothy of Closter, NJ; son Michael Dixon and his husband Christopher Wright of Madison, CT; and son David Dixon of Goshen, NY; in addition to four grandchildren: Cassandra, Amelia, Archer, and Corinne. He is also survived by his brother Robert Dixon and his wife JoyAnn of Goshen, NY. In addition to his parents, William was predeceased by his wife Sunday Dixon, and his sister Barbara Fowler.
Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope, NY.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, from 4-8 p.m. at Smith, Seaman, and Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe, NY 10950. A Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2021, followed by burial of cremains at Monroe Cemetery in Monroe, NY.
