Saturday, Febr. 28 1981, in Swedish- American hospital after a long
illness. Born Nov. 8 1898 in Rockford, son of Albin and Charlotte
Johnson.
Lived all his live in Rockford, married to former Mary Rususky in
Andover , IL June 16 1925. Employed as a furniture finisher by
Furniture Finisher Co. for 23 years and by other furniture manufacturers,
retiring 1963. Veteran of World War I , serving in the Army.
Confirmed in Zion Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, Mary;
five nieces, Mrs. DeLoris Hellsten, Mrs. Mercedes Widbom, and Mrs. Betty
Carlson, all of Rockford.
Mrs. Vernis Allen, Long Beach Calif. and Mrs. Janice Engdahl, Stockton Calif;
and two nephews, Fred Wallin, Rockford and Lowell Wallin, Cary.
Services at 1 p.m. Wednesday. March 4 in FRED C. OLSON MORTUARY,
1001 2nd Ave. with Rev. Ralph Leonard , pastor of Zion Lutheran Church
officiating.
Burial in Calvary Cemetery. No visitation.
