Gary Thomas Bailey, Sr., passed away Tuesday, October 19th, 2021 at Prisma Health. Born in Greenville County. He was the son of the late William and Lucille Bailey. He retired from Marvin's Produce. He was a member of Clearview Baptist Church in Travelers Rest, SC.
Gary was predeceased by his wife Barbara Turner Bailey, who passed away Tuesday, October 12th, 2021. Surviving are his daughters, Beth Johnson (Larry) of Greenville, SC, Marilyn Bagwell (Chris) of Waterloo, SC and his son Gary Thomas Bailey, Jr.(Apryl) of Ware Shoals, SC; his step daughter Angela Ward (Colby) of Greenville, SC and his step son Buddy Hembree of Taylors, SC; his brother Larry L. Bailey of Travelers Rest, SC; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Along with his wife and parents, he was also predeceased by his brothers: Robert, Edward, Jack Earle, Doyle, Roger, David, James, Carroll and Wayne; and his sister, Shirley Bailey McCall.
Funeral Services will be held at 4:00pm Sunday, October 24th, 2021 at Clearview Baptist Church.
