Montgomery, Sr., (Marriette Montgomery) and Sharyn Lynn Hurst Montgomery Reyes and Sue Jackson (Gary). Lisa was a member of Tabernacle of Hope SDA. Lisa worked in the Environmental Safety Field. Lisa graduated from North Central High School and Indiana Business College with degrees in Massage Therapy and Medical Assisting. Lisa earned the "Change of Life" award from IBC; She was a devoted mother (Ciersyn and Jeffrey were her world); a zealous student of academia and life; she was selfless and had an ever present Christian spirit. Her mantra was God and family.
Lisa was previously married to Jeffrey Carpenter and she is survived by one daughter, Ciersyn L. Carpenter; son, Jeffrey Carpenter II; brothers, Charles Montgomery, Jr. (Tonya) Clarksville, IN, Michael Montgomery (Lynda) Indianapolis, IN, Gerry Montgomery (Farrah) Chesapeake, VA, Jason Garner (Erin) Indianapolis, IN, Ronald Reyes (Milagros) Indianapolis, IN, Edwin Reyes (Ruth) Indianapolis, IN; sisters, Tanzania Cannon-Eckerle (Joseph) Hadley, MA. and Eleyne Reyes Indianapolis, IN.; Jojari Cannon-Edwards (Lee) Dallas, TX. uncle Mark Hurst (Patricia) Aunt Lavonia Marie Davis and Janet Hurt; best friend, Patricia Turner, all of Indianapolis, IN; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
