On Sunday October 17, 2021 the Robertson family lost their father unexpectedly due to non Covid related illness. He was a widower of a little over a year. Roy was born in Hialeah, FL on October 17, 1955 to Mary Dyer and Roy Robertson Sr. He had two brothers Stephen of Florida (passed away) and Michael of Ohio.
After high school, he joined the Air Force and retired after 20 years of exemplary service in Wichita Falls, TX which is where he met his wife Deette Robertson. He was a devoted husband for over 20 years before losing her unexpectedly. He lived a full life of kids, step kids, and grandkids. He was able to meet his only great grandson not long before he passed away. He loved shooting pool, throwing darts, and bowling.
Roy is survived by his children Leslie Morgan on Pratville, AL, Leighanna Talley of Baker, FL and Francis Robertson of Crestview, FL, his step kids Desiree Stevenson and Daniel Villa of Ft Worth, TX. Roy also had 6 grand daughters and 3 grandsons as well as one great grandson.
