Teresa Parrish Scott a resident of Troy, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Southeast Health in Dothan, Alabama.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Skeen Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Marler officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 22, 2021, at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy. The family will also receive friends at the funeral home Saturday thirty minutes prior to the service.
She was born July 19, 1959, in Brundidge, Alabama, to Hillard D. Parish and Virma Napper Parrish.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hillard D. Parrish, and a brother, James Parrish.
She is survived by her husband, J.B. Scott, Jr,; children, Chrystal Scott (Benji Campbell), and Robert Scott; grandchildren, Terri Scott, Arianna Campbell and Annalore Scott; mother, Virma Napper Parrish; siblings, Eddie Parrish (Janice) and Peggy Spicer; mother-in-law, Peggy Scott; sister-in-law, Elvira Spivey (Jondy); many nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be: Robert Scott, Benji Campbell, Charly Parrish, Grady Hayes, Jay Brown and Joshua Richter. Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be Robbie Davis.
