Kimberly Leigh Smith, 59, of Newnan, Georgia, passed away to be with our Heavenly Father on October 21, 2021. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on November 4, 1961 to Otis and Joan Hicks.

She was raised in Fayetteville, Georgia. She worked at Bell South where she met the love of her life, Ken. The last 4 years she worked at MMHB and Associates with her husband. Kim was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and follower of Jesus. She loved her family with all her being. Spending time at Lake Martin, "her happy place", is where she made lots of lifelong memories, including renewing her wedding vows with her husband alongside their children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Ken Smith; her son, Eric; her daughter, Erica; her grandchildren, Annabelle and Cannon; her parents, Otis and Joan Hicks; as well as her brother and three sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 29, 2021 at One Church, Fayetteville, with Blake Bergstrom officiating.

All are invited.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Salvation Army, or any Christian Charity of your choosing.
