Bryan Keith Walker (1963-2021)

Bryan Keith Walker passed away peacefully in Elmira, New York on October 19th, 2021. Known affectionately by friends and family as Curly, Keith was born in Tifton, Georgia on December 17th, 1963. He was the youngest of six children born to the late Joyce Ann Hapeman and Charles Wallace Walker.

He is predeceased by his parents; his stepfather, Jack Hapeman; his beloved grandparents, Edna Mae and Charlie Ackridge Walker; and his brother, Gregory Thomas Walker, Sr.

Keith is survived by his son, Derrick Brantley Walker (April); his sisters, Victoria Walker, Lynda Erkiletian, Sherri Walker (Laura), Cindy Walker Black, and Linda Hapeman; his brothers Timothy Walker and Bobby Hapeman; his beautiful granddaughters, Alyson and Adrianna Walker; his numerous nieces and nephews, and countless friends.

Keith will be remembered for his generosity, his kind heart, and mischievous spirit. He was a man of many skilled trades and could fix literally anything, from a V8 engine to a kitchen sink. Always willing to lend a helping hand, he shared his talents freely and cared for those in need. Keith was an avid gardener and was most at home in nature, especially beneath the Georgia pines.

His family and friends will celebrate Keith's life in New York on October 28th, 2021. A memorial service will be held by his loved ones in Georgia at a future date.
