Deborah Harriett Stewart, age 69 of Bridgeport, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021 in Olney at Carle-Richland Memorial Hospital. She was born in Lawrenceville on December 13, 1951 to Lee E. and B. Rogene (Eggebrecht) Stevens.

Deborah graduated from Bridgeport Township High School in 1971. She worked as an underwriter for Golden Rule until she retired. Deborah enjoyed playing the piano, sewing, antique shopping, cooking for her family, and had an extensive doll collection. Spending time with her family was treasured time for her.

Surviving relatives include: two daughters- Jeanie Derdeyn and husband Cliff of Austin, TX and Jodie Harvey and husband Bill of Lawrenceville: three sisters- Susan Wolfe and husband Tony of Florida, Connie Elliot and husband Stan of Salem, and Cheri Schofield and husband Richard of Henderson, KY: one brother- Roger Stevens and wife Sharon of Texas: four grandchildren- Kelsey Swope, Jacob Harvey, Audrey Derdeyn, and Cade Derdeyn: and four great-grandchildren- William Nall, Blake Nall, Keith Kelly, and Abree Swope.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Stevens and Rogene Stevens Wright, and one brother, Mark Stevens.

A graveside service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Bridgeport City Cemetery. Cunningham Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
