She was born on August 16, 1930 in Madison, Kansas to Donald and Gladys Barton. She was the oldest of three children, Laurence Eugene and Betty Joyce preceded her in death. Donna was raised in Wichita and graduated from North High School. She married a loving Texan, Arthur Tom Carlton on August 27, 1950. Together they had a beautiful 60 years of marriage. They raised three children, and their home was filled with love.
Donna is survived by her daughters; Kammie Firkins (Steve) of Newton, KS; Pam Hartsock (Eric) of McPherson, KS; Son, Randy Carlton (Marsha) of Radcliff, KY along with seven granddaughters and their spouses, and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Donna worked at Laurco Drapery Company and enjoyed sewing for the family making stylish Easter, prom dresses and her wedding dress. Her passion for serving the Lord included teaching Sunday school, V.B.S., singing in the choir, planning dinner theaters, and going on mission trips. She loved to paint, play cards, work puzzles, watch the sunsets and rainbows, and she and Art (Sonny) enjoyed lots of road trips with the Mulvane Camping Club.

Graveside Committal Service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1806 N. Oliver Ave, Wichita, KS
