He was born on April 9, 1951, in Tiffin, Ohio, to John Robert, Sr. and Mary (Hoffman) Hart. On July 22, 1972, he married Ruth A. Koch, they were married for 42 years before she passed away in 2014.
Survivors include his children, Brad Hart and Amy Myers both of Tiffin; two brothers, Mike (Joyce) Hart and Dick (Ann) Hart, both of Tiffin; sister, Sue Stine of Tiffin; sister-in-law, Sue Hart of Bradenton, FL.; mother-in-law, Anna Mae McClintock of Tiffin; and three grandchildren, Hanna and Olivia Myers and Vincent Hart.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Sandi Hart, Carolyn Perna and Mary "Pooh" Sauers; brother, Joe Hart; and son-in-law, Jefferson "Jeff" Myers.
John was a 1969 graduate of Tiffin Calvert and member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He worked for 47 years at National Machinery, was a member of the Quarter Century Club, retiring in April of 2016. He enjoyed watching Notre Dame football, the Cleveland Indians, and Cleveland Browns. He also enjoyed working around the house. John was a loving father and pawpaw.
His visitation and service will be private, and burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery.
