Nancy E. Chesser, 75, of Lexington, Kentucky died October 18, 2021 from lung cancer. Born January 4, 1946, and raised by Ida Mai and Stuart W. Ryle, in Boone County, Kentucky.
She's survived by her husband, Roger M. Chesser, and her best friend, Carol Rolen. She and Roger had one son, James C. Chesser, who died in 2016. Nancy earned a Masters Degree in Family Studies from UK. She worked in the field of developmental disabilities, and was an advocate for people with disabilities.
Visitation will be 4 to 6 pm at Milward, 391 Southland Drive, with internment of ashes at Camp Nelson Cemetery. Memorials are requested to go to Central Kentucky Chapter of Kentucky Self Advocates for Freedom and the Arc of Central Kentucky.
