LaTonya Brown the daughter of Wilma Jean Bethel and Joe Boyd, born the only child on September 20, 1970 in Louisville Kentucky. She passed away on October 14, 2021.
LaTonya had an outgoing personality and a sincere heart who loved her family and friends and enjoyed life to the fullest. A mother of three and a grandmother of seven, she was the rock of her family.
LaTonya received her education from Jefferson County Public School System and graduated from Shawnee High School. She later earned her Master's degree in Justice Administration from Sullivan University. She was a hard worker with strong work ethics and worked multiple jobs throughout her career. LaTonya was employed as a Clerk for the Administrative Office of the Courts until she got ill and had to resign from her positon. She was also a care taker in Home health care, caring for different clients over the years. LaTonya was baptized at an early age and later attended New Jerusalem Baptist Church.
She leaves to mourn, her Son Travis Bethel, Daughter LaShay Mathis, Mother Wilma Jean Bethel and Grandmother Barbara Batten (Muncie). Grandkids, Taliyah Bethel, Terell Gray, Travis Bethel Jr., Montana and Santana Porter and Anisha Brown.
She is proceeded in Death by her father Joe Boyd, her Son Tony Brown, and grandson Lamontez Porter.
