William Harvey Terry was born on September 16,1963 to the late William "Bill" S. Terry and the late Peggy Ann Hamilton Terry. On October 6, 2021 God released His angels of mercy and comfort to bring home Harvey's soul. God saw he was vacationing in paradise and God said son, "I want you in paradise with me on this day." Angels rejoiced as one of their own was called to rejoin them in Heaven. God offered him a new beginning as things of this world passed away. Now it is time for his eternal life with Jesus Christ.
Harvey spent most of his life as a member of New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church, where he joined at an early age and participated in Sunday School and on the choir. Harvey began his education at West Pelzer Elementary School in Pelzer, SC and finally at Palmetto High School, Williamston, SC. Harvey spent 30+ years in Atlanta, Georgia.
In addition to his parents, Harvey was preceded in death by his loving grandmother, Nellie Lillian "Mama Lit" Mattison Fowler and sister Julie A. Tate.
Left with cherished memories of him are his loving and devoted children, Harlin Terry of Douglasville, GA. and Shelbi James of Atlanta, GA.; two sisters, Tina Terry of Williamston, SC and Geneva Diane Patrick of Atlanta, GA; four sisters by choice, Sabrina Blackmon of Atlanta, GA, Sandra Rutledge of Greenville, SC, Linda (Billy) Mangle of Williamston, SC, and Gloria Collins of Atlanta, GA; two brothers by choice, Dr. Michael Moody of Douglasville, GA. and Christopher Wells of Atlanta, GA; four nephews two were reared in the home, Kenyon Matthews of Williamston, SC and Michael Shannon (Candice) Coleman of Columbia, SC, Corey (Monica) Henson of Atlanta, GA, and Frankie (Leslie) Gambrell of Greenville, SC; two nieces, Veronica Gambrell of Pendleton, SC and Tiffiny (Jake) Brainard of Augusta, GA; a host of nieces and nephews by choice, also six great-nephews and three great-nieces; a special friend, Erline Joseph of Atlanta, GA,; a long-time friend, Sandra Stump of Douglasville, GA and a host of other family members and friends.
