Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Assembly of God with Jerad Middaugh, pastor of Southlawn Assembly of God, officiating. Burial will be in Llano East Cemetery by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St.
Mr. Ferril was born in Shamrock. He lived in Amarillo all of his life. He graduated from River Road High School in 1979. He worked with his family's business, T-Miller Wrecker Service, for more than 40 years. Mr. Ferril married Jeni Fain in 1979 at Amarillo. He loved auto racing, golf and hockey. He was a member of the board of directors for the Texas Towing and Storage Association.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Ferril in 2004 and two brothers.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Megan Ferril of Amarillo; a son, David Ferril of Amarillo, his father, Lonnie Ferril of Amarillo; a brother, Byron Ferril and wife, LaVerna, of Amarillo; eight nieces; a nephew; an adopted grandson, Jaykob Hill and a grandson on the way; and many racing buddies and dear friends.
The family suggests memorials be to the Amarillo Crime Stoppers.
