James Matthew Davidson, of Midland TX, passed away on October 17, 2021, at the young age of 23.

He was born on September 22, 1998, to Elizabeth (Gaona) Moreno in San Angelo, TX.

His pride and joy was his daughter Yaretzi.

He also and he valued his relationships with family, friends, and co-workers.

James loved and appreciated his mother with all his heart. He was his brother's and sister's best friend and protector. James touched many lives and was beloved by all that encountered him. He was a hardworking man that stopped at nothing to provide for his family. His beautiful smile, outgoing personality, and dedication to family will be dearly missed.

James is survived by his daughter Yaretzi Isabella and her mother Eunice Guzman, parents Andy and Elizabeth Moreno, brother Mykel Warrick, sister Melanie Davidson, brother Seth Moreno, sister Kiersten Moreno, grandmother Dora E. Gaona, uncles and aunts Jose and Jaclyn Gaona, Jaime Gaona, Dora Gaona, David and Maria Flores, nephew Jeremiah Mireles, niece Madelyn Mireles, cousins Julian Gaona, Fernando Gaona, Alexis Martinez, Alejandra Gallegos, Cecilia Rodriguez, Brianna Gaona, Issac Gaona, Iziah Martinez, James P. Gaona, Rachael Gaona, and Phoenix Gaona and birth father Ritchie Davidson.

He joins his grandfather, Jose F. Gaona, cousin Mindy Hagan, and grandmother Janette Annyce Minatra in Heaven.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 22, 2021, at The Branch 3800 N. Big Spring St., Midland, TX, from 5:00 โ€“ 7:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home 3800 N. Big Spring St., Midland, TX followed by burial at Resthaven Memorial Park 4616 N. Big Spring St., Midland, TX. Livestream will be available at www.npwelch.com.
