Ben "Big Ben" Price, 44, passed from this life on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at University of Mississippi Medical Center with his loving wife by his side. He was born on March 1, 1977 in McComb, MS, to Buster and Shirley Price of McComb.
He enjoyed every aspect of life. He was an incredible husband and an amazing father who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors are his wife, Joni, of 24 years ; 1 daughter, Avery Price ; 1 son, Ben Conner Price ; his mother, Shirley Price ; 2 sisters, Deborah Price, and Robbie Price ; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Richard and Debora Hicks, 1 sister-in-law Loni (Brett) Coker ; 2 brothers-in-law, Steve (Brittney) Hicks, Brett (Hayley) Hicks, and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers are Brad Van Norman, Will Alexander, Brad Alexander, Andy Lott, Todd Smith, Nick Coker.
Honorary pallbearers are Randy Clark, David Alexander, Brad Platt, Wes McCullough, Channing Adams, Pete Dickerson, as well as half of Pricedale, Lyle Machinery, and residents of McComb and surrounding areas.
A visitation for Big Ben will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at McComb Church of Christ where he was a member from 12:30 PM until time of service at 3:30 PM, with graveside service to follow at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Pricedale, MS. There will be a Celebration of Life gathering immediately following at Calvary Baptist Church where all are invited. Sharkey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
