Zanesville - Harold Edwin Curtis, 88, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021. Harold was born May 4, 1933 to the late Denver Curtis and Geraldine Mayle. In addition to his parents, Harold is also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gwendylon Elain Curtis; and his brothers, Marlin Guy and Richard Norris.
Harold leaves to cherish his memory, his sons Jeff (Patricia) Curtis, Harold Timothy (Shannon) Curtis and Eric (Michelle) Curtis; his daughters, Anita (Michael) Camp, Susan (Jeff) Harris and Esther Curtis; grandchildren, Carletta, Casey, Dominique, Alexus, Destiny, Elektra, Eric and Ercasia; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Harold was a United States Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. He went on to dedicate many years of employment to McGraw-Edison, and also tended land as a farmer. In his free-time, Harold enjoyed his Sunday afternoons spent amongst his family, surrounding their fire-pit. He also enjoyed sitting on his front porch each day, having conversations with Mike. Harold will be missed by many.
You may call on the family Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., with funeral service to follow at 12 p.m., at Burrell Funeral Services, in Zanesville. Minister Nehemiah Gaiters officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
