Mr. Raymond W. "Glover" Morris, age 91, of 111 Fant St. Union, widower of Margarett Franklin Morris, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Mr. Morris was born in Union, August 13, 1930, a son of the late James Monroe Morris and Myrtle Johns Morris. He was retired from Milliken and Co., Monarch plant and a member of Mon Aetna Baptist Church. Mr. Morris was a veteran of the US Army. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Surviving is a step-son, Frankie Dell Mitchell; a special cousin, Debbie Robertson; and step-grandchildren, Dell Mitchell, Nancy Mabry, Sophie Mitchell, Pam Brown, Lynn Black, Kevin Black, Kim Benson, Angel Cooke, Rhonda Mitchell, Danny Mitchell and Walter Mitchell; eight step-great-grandchildren; three special little ones Paul and Daniel Mitchell and Emmalee Sapphire Dixon; and a special friend, Carolyn Hardee. He was also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Morris was predeceased by two sisters, Ferol Kelly and Lucy Putman; two brothers, James "Skillet" Morris and Horace "Demo" Morris; a step daughter, Patricia Black and a step-son, Walter "Buddy" Mitchell.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Chris Gulledge.

Active pallbearers will be Robert Morris, Robert Edwards, Scott Roark, Barry Carroll, Bobby Joe Gibbs and Jeff Dixon.

Visitation will be held at the graveside immediately following the service.

The family will be at their respective homes.
