John Reed Clark, born November 4, 1941.

Passed away on October 18, 2021 from complications of Agent Orange.

John was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and retired to Kanab, Utah in 2004.

John was a proud member of the United States Navy he joined June 1959 and retired with the rank of Senior Chief August of 1979.

John loved his family, hunting, fishing, and camping.

He enjoyed going to his Navy reunions and reconnecting with his shipmates.

Was the first President of Chapter 961 VVA.

Was the First Vice Commander of Post 69 American Legion.

John later in life joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

He became the Service Chairman and enjoyed helping others.

John has many more accomplishments that centered around his family and helping to raise his children and grandchildren.

John was the son of Francis and Helen Clark, he has joined his parents and brother Robert F. Clark who proceeded him in death.

John is survived by the love of his life, his "Guardian Angel", of 53 years, Linda L. Clark (Boweter).

John is survived by his children David Clark and Cheryl Gonzales. Grandchildren Briane Bedford (Travis Lauritzen), Michalina Romano (Jeremy Clark), Gabriel Gonzales, and Bells Gonzales. Great grandchild Alise Romano.

There will be a viewing on Wednesday, October 20, from 6-8 pm and Thursday, October 10am-11:45am at Mosdell Mortuary.

Services at the Kanab Cemetery at 12:00 noon on Thurdsay.
