He was born on 14 Sep 1946, in Honolulu, Territory of Hawaii as the 1st son of Barbara Brown, Hilo, HI and father, George Sr, Honolulu, HI.
He is survived by his devoted partner for eternity, Jude, older sister Barbara and youngest brother Duke, Honolulu, HI, younger brother Wayne, Red Rock, CO and step daughter Tammy. He has 2 sons, William B.K., San Francisco, CA and Cristopher D.H., Cambridge, MA, who blessed him with 4 granddaughters and grandson. His Brown Ohana of cousins, nieces, nephews and other decedents exceed 200.
He was a proud 1964 graduate of the high school class of the Kamehameha School for Boys.
He spent over 24 years of incredible military service and sacrifice for our nation and retired as the MP operations SGM, 92nd MP BN, Ft Clayton, Panama. his first assignment was as a Combat MP, 101st MP Co, 101st ABN Div "Screaming Eagles", RVN 'oct 68-69.
His military overseas assignment included completed tours in Thailand, Republic of Korea, Hawaii and Panama in a variety of leadership positions from Squad LDR, Platoon SGT, Company, BN, BDE and ACOM Operations SGT, 1SG and SGM.
His military decorations and awards included BSM, MSM (2 OLC), ARCOM (6 OLC). SGF Perry was individual recognized by c\CDR, 7th INF DIV (LT) and inducted into the 7th division's "Organization of the Professional Bayonet".
Not done serving our nation in Oct 1997, he worked as a Lieutenant, DOD police, first at Ft Dix, NJ for 14 years and 5 years with 87th SFS, jb- mdl. After over 43 years of incredible service to our nation, he retired on 1 Dec 2014.
SGM (ret)Perry is interned in BG Doyle Cemetery with his comrades in arms for eternity.
