Jeffery Allen Johnson, 67, of Laurel, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021, at Oaks Nursing Center in Burnet, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, W. T. Johnson and Ruth Johnson; and his sister, Sandra Lynn Pippen.

Jeffery was born Thursday, August 12, 1954, to W. T. and Ruth Johnson of Laurel, Mississippi. After graduating from West Jones High School in 1972, he started his career in the oilfield. Jeffery's hobbies included deer and turkey hunting and fishing, and he enjoyed those hobbies with his children, grandchildren, and friends.

He is survived by his children, daughter, Carrie Marie Bauer of Marble Falls, Texas; sons, Jeffery "Noah" Johnson of Laurel, Mississippi, and Adam "Brett" Johnson of Laurel, Mississippi; three grandchildren, Garrett Grant Craven of Burnet, Texas, Colin Ray Bauer, of Marble Falls, Texas, and Noah Grant Johnson of Laurel, Mississippi. He is also survived by his sibling, David "Wayne" Johnson of Laurel, Mississippi as well as a number of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Services will be held on Saturday, October 23rd at First Baptist Church of Shady Grove. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with a memorial service to follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Shady Grove Cemetery.
