WILLIAMS, Irene H. – of Clio, age 93, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021, in her hometown of Bad Axe. Funeral services will be held 12PM Thursday, October 21, 2021, at West Vienna United Methodist Church – 5485 W. Wilson Rd., in Clio. Pastor Carol Freeland officiating. Burial in West Vienna Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Wednesday from 5PM until 8PM, and at the church on Thursday from 11AM until the time of service at 12PM. An Eastern Star memorial will be held at 11:45AM Thursday at the church prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to West Vienna United Methodist Church or the Order of the Eastern Star – Vienna Chapter #283.

Irene was born August 9, 1928, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Alphonse and Clementine (VanGoethem) Tack. She graduated from Bad Axe High School in 1946. Irene married Robbie A. Williams, Sr. on August 21, 1947, in Bad Axe. He preceded her in death August 17, 2016. Irene had resided in Clio for the past 70 years. She was a member of West Vienna United Methodist Church in Clio, Clio VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #1452, Order of the Eastern Star – Vienna Chapter #283, H.E.T. Club and the AACA Car Club. Irene was a secretary with Clio schools for 11 years and Vienna Township for 17 years. She enjoyed gardening, antiquing, reading, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are: Children: Jacquelyn Miller of Clio, Kenneth (Maurena) Williams of Belleville, Virginia (John) Godden of Ann Arbor, and Laurie (Keith) Rossman of Clio; Daughter in law, Dawn Williams of Florida; 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; Sister, Florence (Jerry) Sullivan; Several nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
