Eva was the type of person who wouldn't ask something of someone that she herself would not do. She was a wonderful mother to her six children and acted as a mother and grandmother figure to everyone she knew. She favored her home activities including sewing, cross stitch, crocheting, and cooking. She is remembered as a spiritual leader in the community, hosting fellowship every Sunday for breakfast and lunch.
Survivors of Eva include five of her children, Amanda (Michael) Barg, Cynthia (Jeffery) Thomas, Micheal (Tricia) Anderson, Garrett (Kristine) Anderson, and Mary (Bruce) Ware; Daughter-in-law Debbie Anderson; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; siblings William (Shirlee) Gray, Elberta (David) Horton, and Eddie (Candy) Gray; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Sr., her son, James Anderson Jr. and her parents.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm, Friday, October 22, 2021, at Justen Funeral Home & Crematory, 3700 Charles J. Miller Road, McHenry, IL 60050. Services to follow at 12:00pm. Interment will be at McHenry County Memorial Park Cemetery, Woodstock, IL 60098
