LITTLE LIFE GONE OUT.
Ethel., the 9-year-old (sic) daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Ghere, of near Tyro, died Monday morning at 7 o'clock from an ailment akin to brain fever. The funeral took place today at 1 o'clock from the Tyro Methodist church, Rev. H. R. McKeen of Jefferson, conducting the services. The interment was in Blackjack cemetery.

OBITUARY.
MARION ETHEL GHERE.
The community was shocked Monday by news of the death of little Marion Ghere, the fourteen year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Ghere, Her death was caused by Brain fever with which she was ill only a short time at her home near here.
She was born in Lebanon Ind., June 12th, 1896, and was the youngest of four children. Beside her parents she leaves two brothers and one sister to mourn her loss.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. H. R. McKeen of the M.E. Church, burial in the Pleasant Hill (sic) Cemetery.
The school where she had attended was closed that her school mates might pay their last tribute to their departed comrade. They marched to the cemetery where they formed two distinct lines through which the funeral procession passed. The casket was opened at the grave that the children might have a last fond look at which time they placed a beautiful floral wreath on the casket as a memento of the high esteem in which she was held by her little friends.
