Last Thursday occurred the funeral of Nels Anton Larson, who died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Elza Wells, near Primghar, July 31, of consumption.
Mr. Larson was born in Denmark December 18, 1886, and came to America in September of last year. He was but twenty years of age and had come here about three weeks ago on a visit to his sister, little realizing that death would claim him so soon.
The mother died last winter, and a father, three brothers, and a sister are left to mourn his loss. The father, Carl Larson, of Omaha, was with him when he died, coming here in response to a message announcing the serious illness of his boy.
The funeral was held from the home Thursday, interment being made in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of all.
