A longtime resident of Epping, David served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1976-1980. While stationed in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba he earned a Sharpshooter Badge and a Good Conduct Medal. After his time in the service, he began a long career as a motor coach operator. He worked for A Yankee Line Inc., New England Coach Company, and most recently for Wilson Bus Lines. Many clients enjoyed his personality so much that he was highly requested as a driver for return trips.
David was an avid motorcycle enthusiast who loved to socialize, especially when going out to breakfast with his close friends. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his father's wife Jean Brooks and his sister Sheryl "Casey" Lau. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mary Ann (Brouder) Brooks; two daughters and a son; and grandchildren.
