James Dale, 73, former Camden resident died late Saturday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clark Hutchinson, 423 South First street, Fulton, where he had made his home for the past few years. Mr. Dale suffered a shock a number of years ago while living here, from which he never fully recovered.
Mr. Dale came from Williamstown to Camden nearly fifty years ago to work for the late Thomas D. Penfield and was employed by him for a long time. Later he was employed in Conant's factory.
Beside the daughter mentioned he is survived by one son, William Dale of Boonville. He also leaves a number of grandchildren.
The funeral was held at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the Hutchinson home in Fulton, the Rev. Mr. Dodge of Granby Center officiating. The remains were brought to Camden and interred in Forest Park cemetery.
