Debra Diane Goodwin (Payne) passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 12th, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones. She is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Mamie England. She was a graduate of Ashville High School. She retired from Jefferson County Board of Education as a bus aide with 25 years of service. Deb loved anything outdoors and just being with family and friends. She is survived by her sister Donna Morphis, her husband John Goodwin, her children Lisa (Shawn) Leslie, Jason (Kimberlee) Payne. Her grandchildren include Alyssa, Kinleigh and Gavin Vines, Lakin, Kambree and Haizlee Payne. Deb is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Her sweet smile and infectious laugh will always be remembered.
