She was a 1977 graduate of Andrew Jackson High School in Queens, New York.

Debra was a fighter. She beat breast cancer 3 times…she beat Covid. She was a strong willed lady with a heart of gold. She would go out of her way to help anybody even complete strangers. She loved God & church. She joined Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church, New Laurel Baptist Church & Apostle Dr. P.O. Coleman Ministries. She attended different churches online as well. Laraine, or "Raine" as she was affectionally called didn't enjoy anything more than being a mother and grandmother. Her entire life was dedicated to providing the best possible life for her children, grandchildren and her brother. Raine was a true social butterfly and her work speaks volumes for her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mitchell and Clementine Ragin and Edith Johnson.
