Edna Marie Brown, age 92 of Union, passed away October 17, 2021 at Cypress Pointe Health Campus in Englewood. Born March 25, 1929 to the late Cora May (Moore) and Webster Clinton Steiner in Brookville, Ohio. Edna worked in the Title Department for Gem City for more than 25 years before she retired. She and her late husband, Myron "Brownie" were members of Englewood United Methodist Church since the 1950's. They enjoyed square dancing and traveling together. They visited Niagara Falls, Florida, and went on numerous cruise vacations. Edna loved crocheting afghans for her family for all different occasions.
She is survived by her children: Belinda (Walter) Kern of Tennessee, Michael (Lisa) Brown of Xenia, grandchildren: Anne (John) Bauer, David (Sarah) Kern, Jason (Patty) Brown, Kimberly (Paul) Leber, 6 great-grandchildren, sister: Bessie Elliott, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. Along with her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her husband: Myron "Brownie" Brown, infant grandson: Matthew Kern, 2 sisters and 1 brother.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood). Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 10:00 am with Pastor Leroy Chambliss officiating at Kindred Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Arlington Cemetery in Brookville.
