Funeral services for Mrs. Sharon Annette Branch will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 21, 2021, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, with Reverend Bart Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Mrs. Branch, 77, of Ball, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center, Baton Rouge, LA.
Sharon was a native of Georgetown, LA. She was a retired Special Education School bus driver for the Rapides Parish School Board. She had a love for bream fishing with her fly rod. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her
She is preceded in death by her husband, Luther Edward Branch, Jr.; one son, David Cole; and her parents, Thomas and Jessie Price.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include three sons, Denzil Cole, and his wife, Terri, of Baton Rouge, Luther Rusty Branch, III, of Baton Rouge, and David Branch, of Baton Rouge; one brother, Sonny Price, and his wife, Frances, of Bentley; three sisters, Judy Gaylor, of Ball, Fannie Vanlangendonck, and her husband, Ronnie, of Austin, TX, and Mandy Ray, of Ball; and one grandchild, Caitlyn Cole.
A time of visitation will be held at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Thursday, October 21, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
