Joan Arlene Brown Kaufmann (nee Parks), age 82, of Hebron, Indiana, passed away peacefully, Monday, October 18, 2021 at her daughter's home. Born July 7, 1939 to her loving late parents, Roy and Mariam Parks in Arthur, Iowa.
She was a Farm girl, animal lover, and had an interest in natural medicine, gardening, and many crafts. As a Born again Christian, Joan was a faithful servant.
Joan is survived by her daughter Donna Brown, her two sons Robert Brown, and Dale Brown, brother-in-law, Lee Wildy, Grandchildren Amanda, Kathryn, Matthew Brown, Jason and Alexandra Temme, Jessica and Robby Brown, and Christen Brosch; Niece Charlene (Mark) Newton and nephews Roger Jr. (Evi) and Thomas Helm and Chris Wildy. Great grandchildren Christian and Anthony Anselmini, Michayla Porter, Alexis Temme, Patrick, Owen, and Autumn Brosch.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Donald Leroy Brown and John Kaufmann, her parents Roy and Mariam (nee Pike) Parks and her sisters Joyce E. Wildy and Jean E Helm, and Brother-in-law Roger Helm Sr.
Visitation: Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 3pm-8p, at Anderson-Goodale Memorial Home, 21131 Renwick Rd., Plainfield IL 60544 Additional Visitation: Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 10:00-11:00am. Funeral service at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Plainfield Township Cemetery, Plainfield, IL.
